So my favorite thing to do these days is to sit my phone on my belly and watch little Ryleigh kick it off---it's almost like she and I are playing this little, secret game and it just makes me so very excited! I can sit and watch her do it over and over---it never gets old and it definitely makes me and Ethan laugh. I can't wait to see her kick her little legs outside of my belly! My momma says that she is definitely going to be a dancer (or a football player)!
The neatest thing is her kicking has gotten strong enough that Ethan can feel her moving just about all of the time and I love it. I know that Ethan, being the dad-to-be, often feels a little left out when it comes to getting to be near her. I feel like she is already showing him that she loves him every time he gets to feel her move. I know that he loves it and I love watching him get to experience her. I am really looking forward to going home for Christmas and letting my momma feel her first grandbaby moving around in my belly. That is going to be one sweet moment.
On a different note, I'm feeling a little more confident in the cloth diaper area thanks to the advice of friends and a friend's sister. My momma always used cloth diapers so why can't I? I was totally up for the idea but the idea of cleaning the poopy diapers left me a little perplexed. After getting some great advice, I am feeling much more confident and I am hoping that Ethan is still up for the challenge! Haha! It's definitely a team thing---right?
love,
Brandy
we'll most likely be doing cloth diapers too. We'll do regular at night and sometimes when we go out, but at home it'll be cloth. Also, we are making our own baby food. I'm going to have a friend come over and teach me, if you want to come over for the lesson, let me know :) It can save about $100 a month to make your own baby food.
ReplyDeletethats so great!!! how amazing to feel Ryleigh!
ReplyDeletethe way the cloth diapers are made these days its definitely worth it... Shelia only used cloth on Kyle and she was telling me how it wasnt really all that bad, you get use to it and have your own system. I'm glad you have your mommy and other friends who have actually been through the experience to help you through it... i hope i have the courage to do it, it will definitely save a TON of money.
love you guys!!
Jess, the lady that I work for out here makes her own baby food and I have learned so much from her. That is definitely our plan. It is cheaper and much more healthy for your baby. Why do it any other way? I may be interested in coming to the lesson though to see if your friend does it any differently. Let me know when that is. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAngela--I will help you out with the cloth diapers when it's your time! I sure I will have lots of experience by that point! I also have saved the email with advice and I will send it on to you! You WILL have the courage!
